This villa is presented as a superposition of two very rotund volumes, which through the play of the turn between them generate covered terraces and orient the upper floor in the direction of the distant views of the landscape. The pieces have two solid sides that perform the structural function, thus allowing the fronts to be completely open through large windows facing the garden with a marked horizontality. In contrast to its exterior, the interior is made up of connected spaces that contemplate a particular program, where each of the rooms reveals a unique landscape of the garden. In this way, in this property one experiences an atmosphere immersed in a poetics of shadows that transform the interior.

Access and garden
The plot has two accesses in the northeast corner: one for vehicles that connects to the basement via a ramp and another pedestrian one that directs users to the main entrance of the villa through a series of paved platforms. The house is located in the upper area of the plot leaving a free area for a large garden with swimming pool.

First floor
On the first floor of this villa are located the most social areas of the house. A large living-dining room opens to the garden through a large window protected by the overhang generated by the upper floor. At the rear, there is a compact block that houses support functions such as the kitchen, service areas or the communication core.

Second floor
The bedrooms are located on the upper floor, arranged around a reading area illuminated by a zenithal opening. All bedrooms have direct access to an elevated terrace overlooking the garden.

Basement floor
In the basement, in addition to the parking spaces, there are other areas such as the gymnasium, saunas, indoor swimming pool, a multipurpose room, etc., all of which are combined with technical and support areas such as an area for the treatment of clothes or installation rooms.

Design team Fran Silvestre arquitectos
It is an architecture and design studio based in Valencia, formed by a large multidisciplinary group of professionals, which carries out residential, cultural, corporate or public projects at international level. Throughout their career they have received awards and recognitions such as the MHK award in Berlin in 2009, the Red Dot Design Award in 2013, the first prize in the product category at the xiii biennial Spanish Architecture and Urbanism 2016, the Nycxdesign Awards 2016 in New York or the German Design Award in 2020. His work has been published in magazines such as Ga houses, on-site, Architectural Record, Architectural Digest or Arquitectura Viva and in publishers such as Phaidon, gg, Taschen or Rizzoli. The approach of the projects arises from a double commitment: the will to give a technical response to a specific context and the desire to seek beauty through the built work, pursuing the satisfaction of all those who actively participate.
